I've learned that life is short. That we have to live in the day because at any minute everything can change.
I've learned that in the end there is no one to pass the buck too after it gets to me. I just have to deal with it.
I've learned that I dont have time in my life for negative people. If someone cant be supportive and constructive, then they are not someone I want to give my time and energy too.
I've learned that we all have a lot of people in our lives, but only a few of them are true friends. And true friends are like gold.
I've remembered to say I love you, to the people I love, because if I dont say it now, I might not be able to say it later.
I've learned that sometimes when I say NO, I do actually owe the person an explanation as to why.
I've remembered that being patient is not a bad thing.

I have my fingers crossed about this one, cos so far he is lovely - and for a change lives within 5 kms of me (), other positives = smart, attentive, good listener, funny, positive, lighthearted, well rounded, good looking - anyway you get the gist.

It's great that you keep learning new things no matter how old you are.For me,I have learned to spend more quality time with my kids rather than running around doing the house work and trying to keep the house clean and tidy,it always goes back to the way it was the next day anyway.Being a single parent is not easy and there are a few on here and know that,playing a game of checkers or cards and even join in on a wii game with them,go outside for a kick of the footy or soccer ball or go for a ride on our bikes,take the dog for a walk with them and so on.They grow up too fast so I think doing things with them that they like as often as possible is very imortant.
