A beautiful day here again today
But I mustn't linger or word play
I've work to do so must get on

Hey folks....today my ironing pile is sooooo high...
I swear it just about touches the sky.....
so onto CS I come looking for distraction

Well now its way past noon
and Ive decided to put my iron doon
time to listen to a wee choon
and then for me its off to the toon!!

I've been out to sort some things today
Needed space in t'garage so will throw them away
Why do we keep things for years and a score
In case they're needed - oh what a bore!
I've stuff in there that's lain decades I'm sure
So just stopped for a rest
In my shorts n sun vest
And just had a shower
And smell like a flower
My cheese and cress wrap
That I have on my lap
Tastes so savoury 'n' good
I'd built up an appetite as I should
I've cleared so much stuff
Will that be enough?
The cobwebs are none
The brush saw them gone
And spiders have lost their home
They were dancing a jig
I couldn't give a fig
And a huge one ran over my shoes
It soon scurried off under yonder bench
So hot out there, tho iced water quenched
And now I am resting just here
I'm sipping an ice coffee, no not a beer
And soon I will up and bake
Just a few scones that will no time take
To prepare and cook very soon
Good job too, cos its well after noon
So catch you all later
