Hmmm you make it sound a little like the woman isn't doing anything, which I don't think is true... or if it is in your case, you're choosing the wrong women! These days very few men come bearing gifts... well at least, not that I know of! If for example, I get asked out to dinner, I always offer to pay my share. If he doesn't accept, well I will say thank you. Even if he ends up spending more in the relationship, hopefully, I am giving back in other ways....
