So true. There are some really gorgeous men and women out there who have not felt the need to develop their personality... It's a huge turn off especially if they're vain with it.

I think you have to work a lot harder at it if you aren't blessed with good looks.

I'm happy with my life because I'm happy with who I am, but it's taken me a while to get to this space! We live and learn.

Yep, except with all the rain it's just about washed away! We have tomatoes, spinach, cabbage, radishes, and herbs like basil, rosemary, chives... Love eating freshly grown vegs.

Now that reminds me of the story of the donkey who fell down a well? Know that one? People started shovelling crap down the well coz they thought he didn't have a chance, but he patted it down with his hooves and eventually climbed out as right as rain! Well, I have a definite soft spot for the Scottish accent!!! As for the OP topic... You should go for it. I lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for 9 years and travelled throughout the US and Canada while I was there. It was such a fantastic growth experience. It's brilliant to broaden one's horizons.

Hi June!!! Long time no see! I can vouch for the above... Am so enjoying my Scotsman! Can't wipe the smile off my face. And funnily enough, since I met him, everything else seems to be falling into place - it's like the universe is conspiring to help me... I had to wait 3 years to meet him, but hey, it was worth the wait! Sometimes you just need to get on with your life and live it because the time isn't right, and it happens when you least expect it...

Hey, it's not for me - I don't fancy looking like a Stepford wife - but each to their own! As for the hobbit feet, Jac, not sure about the hairy flappy bit but may end up with a swollen, purple and green foot after falling down a stair this morning!!!

Yes, and we haven't had much of a summer, that's for sure! Did I tell you about our hilarious Tuscan cooking evening with the girls? My partner and I had to make the pasta from scratch and the egg started sliding out of the flour and off the counter! It was such an hilarious evening and the food was sublime...
