....except for Stalin's murdering of millions of Russians, Pol Pot's murdering of millions of Cambodians, Bosnia, Rwanda.....it keeps happening over and over again...the end of WWII was not the end of genocide.

Although of course the Jewish people were not the only ones to suffer in the Holocaust, they are constantly at threat of people who wish to wipe them out and whose aim is to do so. These threats may come about unless the aggressors are stopped.

My thoughts are with the victims - may they rest in peace - and my thoughts with their descendants. We should never forget this awful tragedy in recent times.

Come here Boban Let me hug youblushing wink teddybear

Looking up at the stars, I know quite well
That, for all they care, I can go to hell,
But on earth indifference is the least
We have to dread from man or beast.

How should we like it were stars to burn
With a passion for us we could not return?
If equal affection cannot be,
Let the more loving one be me.

Admirer as I think I am
Of stars that do not give a damn,
I cannot, now I see them, say
I missed one terribly all day.

Were all stars to disappear or die,
I should learn to look at an empty sky
And feel its total dark sublime,
Though this might take me a little time."
— W.H. Auden

Israel continues to create the cause for future suffering. At least while Ehud Olmert while Prime Minister Israel respected the Ahimsa agreement between Lebanon, West Bank and Israel.
Knowing creating the cause for suffering and engaging in the cause is stupidity. Benjamin Netanyahu probably doesn’t understand that, early in a debate Ehud Olmert checked up and implemented agreement between the two other parties. Without cause nothing, people need to get a grip of that…

Both Palestine and Israel have forgotten that the an eye for an eye policy would lead to a general human rights blindness.

Please people - dont't let a thread about the holocaust turn into a political thread. There is a political thead about the situation going on currently, so contribute to that if you want rather than make this thread political.

No which is why on holocaust memorial day we remember everyone, not only Jews, who were murdered.
