I like my feet to be free. One reason I love the beach so much is to feel that sand - how it is warm and soft in places that the tides have not reached, ur feet just sink into the sand. but then it is firm and cool where the water has been.....stuff like that

u 2 , there is a lot to be valued about that. I used to live in a farm town - spent most of my adult life there and there r several things I miss.sitting down by the river and watching the herons
listening for the sharp shinned hawks in the woods
seing the finches eat seeds from the flowerheads in my garden
walking the roads to smell & learn the land
catching the great horned owls swooping along the treelines by the river at dusk
but most people don't think about these things I know
