Well, I've not met anyone from online yet so I'll have to say 'The old way' but that's difficult at the moment because I hate the club scene.

I've given up on internet dating only here really for a bit of online banter in the forums these days. I was talking to someone earlier about this very topic. In my opinion it seems to me after many dates from Cs that your going out with someone hoping that you like them as opposed to going out with someone because you like them. There's a distinct difference between these two and the more experience I have with online dating the less I like it.

I'm leaning more towards the organic approach of meeting people if you cross paths in daily life, and going out with them because something about them appeals to you in person and visa versa.

i still prefer the 'traditional' way, as you might put it. but then again its become more difficult to meet people in this way (especially on bladdered nights out - go Ireland). i don't really expect to meet the love of my life online, but hey there's banter to be had and new friends to be made, so it's a win win as far as i'm concerned. if the love of my life happens to fall on my lap from being online, i won't kick her out of bed for farting laugh but either way i'm a happy dude thumbs up

Even if she lets a zinger and the wallpaper peels off the wall
your grass outside turns yellow
and there no more birds left in your neighbourhood
all the milk in the house curdles

what then .......

I prefer the "old way" of meeting people in real life but that hasn't worked out too well

So I tried online but that hasn't worked out too well.

Will stick with my friends in both worlds and be happy with that.

I prefer this way. No shouting above the music, trying to make a good first impression. Met friends as well as a girl. It like anything in life, has it's bad parts but it's so much better being able to get to know someone through writing than a 5 min drunken interview.

Yes I agree with above postee.. some time you just go with the flow cause you seem to have alot in common ... as opposed to traditional dating..with all the attributes to go with it purple heart per say

however equally you can be lucky in both when some one comes along and heart beating heart beating heart beating

in the old fashioned way most people meet in a pub with their beer goggles on , im sure many have thought they met someone they liked only to discover on a date minus the drink that they actually have nothing in commondunno
