EE, I lived in Northern KY for about 3 years and one of my fav things re. food was what they call a 3 way (no joke) it's kinda like spaghetti covered with chile and topped with a liberal amount of grated chedder cheese. It sounds terrible but it's surprisingly good. Make sure you get it with beans. Just say "I'll have a 3 way with beans." You wont be sorry.

Actually It made me think of southern BBQ. I lived in Fla. for a time and Ive traveled all over the States. Theres nothing on earth like BBq in the south...You really have to try some if you can.

The Mexican food in New Mexico is better in my opinion. Visiting ex-inlaws (they weren't ex at the time...lol) there got me hooked. I wish the one restaurant here in Redding that serves Sopapillas did them the right way. I completely enjoyed my lunch in Albuquerque last April *sigh*

Make sure that whoever has the gun gives you a big ole' shotgun to shoot. If you're going to shoot a gun you might as well do it with a big bang.
...and I had to laugh when I read about you eating the hotwings. What is it about the English and hotwings? Summer had a fit over those things, too.

New Mexico is renowned for it's wonderful chilies and their amazing cherries around the Ruidoso area. Taos is gorgeous too but definitely on the spendy side. I grew up on the Texas/Mexico border and was raised on authentic Mexican food. Once you've had it, anything else doesn't compare.
My family used to own land that was sold to White Sands Missile Range.I live on the prairie, shoot guns anytime I want and there's a steady supply of Angus beef.
I have family members in Ireland that I've gotten hooked on beef and turkey jerky and Tabasco Sauce. I get constant e-mails to send more.
