China's rising tide of Christianity "The last 30 years of economic reform have seen an explosion of religious belief. China's government officially recognizes five religions: Protestantism, Catholicism, Buddhism, Islam and Daoism. The biggest boom of all has been in Christianity, which the government has struggled to control."
We are surrounding them, and they are grasping at straws, attempting to erect monuments in honor of their passing. A passing into non-existance has all that will be left will be monuments erected of their inability to survive.
deadbutwhy: They aren't building churches coz they have enough Christian barracks and military bases out there. If the troops depart and they enjoy political freedom and security, then it will be time for more religious freedom. JMO

I haven't commented on this as I see nothing logically wrong with it as only a millionth of a percent of Muslims actually wished something like 911 would happen which leaves the huge bulk of Muslims either neutral or against this action. I'm sure that the same bulk intend this to be a testament to prayer of peace etc but then, you have to embrace the illogical as well as 911 is an emotional event for the west.
Sort of like if a drunk person runs your child over, does his time and then, years later, with multiple options of neighborhoods and cities to live in, knowingly decides to buy a house right across the street from you and, parks the car that killed your child face towards your front door every day in his driveway, and, honks his horn, smiles and waves whenever he gets in it in a self described sign of remorse.
