What is that illusive one thing in life for you? Have you found it ? Will you find it? What will you do with it when you do. Take this thread as serious or tongue in cheek, your call. Enjoy

OK, I'll get this rolling, Haven't quite got it down yet but I'm still working on it.I believe I'm getting closer as the years roll on. I'll get back to you later on that.

Sounds like you've found your niche in life for now, but everything is subject to constant change in this life, always keep that in mind.

langleygirl: Hey, well at least you've gotten some use outta yours! Mine is still awaiting a good man to take that hand.
If you seek, so shall you find. Good things don't happen overnight. I've been guilty of impatience in the past and all it ever got me was into deeper sh.t. Hang in there

Then, maybe you can answer this:
Why are men so impatient? Why do they need to have an absolute answer immediately? Is it so that they can move on to the next person? Is life so short that they can't give it a few?
Yeah...see my post above? That's why I want to know why men are so impatient...so that it will be easier to fool a woman? So that they don't have to worry about keeping their stories straight?
I like to stick my finger in the chocolate to see what I'm getting before I choose it.

I'm asking a serious question.
Think men are generally pretty straight forward in their approach to life. They seem to like cut & dry answers and can be much more analytical in their approach. Personally as a woman, I tend to internalize and ponder, probably sometimes too much, but I simply need time.
I found many illusive things in my life and have been pleasantly surprised by all of them!!! The fun is in not actively searching for it but in getting "wowed" by it!!!

I can't speak for all the other guys, I don't look for an immediate answer, quite to the contrary, I've broken off a few potential relationships because the woman was in too much of a hurry for a commitment. I've been divorced for 12 years now and am not in any big hurry to get serious with anyone. Maybe I'll go out of this life alone unless someone special comes along, who knows Maybe a few of the other guys on here can enlighten you with some feedback.

There are certainly advantages to being single.
But, back to the "1 thing". Ever since seeing the movie, I've thought about that 1 thing. Still haven't come up with it yet. No major goals I want to achieve. Still haven't done my bucket list. I'm just puttering along. Maybe I'll have an ephipany (sp?) this evening while showering?
