anniebaby: last week i put up a thread asking if anyone cud help wit poems or verses for my mums memorial card
well im not sure if im tired or its all getting to me but i have read all i got here and ones i found and i have cried and now im a little upset
ya i know its normal but now i need to smile i can only cry so much right now
b nice to smile b4 i go to bed 2nite

As D said, first ... and then little quiet

very difficult to lose a parent nobody knows until they
actually go thru it themselves how hard it really is .

yeah but this is a huge change in your life
and your still kinda in shock and a bit
bewildered by it emotions are raw .
I know its really hard to explain
It"ll come and go in waves one day you"ll be
grand and another day upset the first 3 months

Have to agree, DO let it out!!! The healing comes quicker and easier when you give yourself the time to grieve and mourn.
Once I didn't have the chance to grieve for a loss of a loved one, had to put up a brave face for ages. Now when I think of her, I still cry. And that for 6 years now
Tears wash away a bit of the pain and cleanse the soul. That's why we were given the ability to cry. Go on, lean on my shoulder and out with it!

Big hug coming your way from here, been through it myself, lost my dad just over 3 yrs ago and only time heals the pain.
