Igenerally boycot those shows ever since they did one a few months back on my friend who was killed. I watched it in the hope that they'd do something good. Those poor girls ...
They didn't they went over what happened and had people who had nothing to do with her talking about what they thought of her.
And in the end, didn't even give out any numbers to call if you had info or make any request for more information.
11 years this september and the media has just treated her like something to sell more papers or advertising time when ever ratings are slow

Tanks. It's ok. Long enough now to have dealt with it for the most part. TV3 tend to be overly sensationalist and tabloid with these types of programmes
Just think the whole drama and sensationalism of it is just wrong.
I'm all for appeals and reminding people that these people have been brought to justice but tone it down a bit and give out numers. That's all.
Wrote to TV3 a number of times after that one and didn't even get a response.

Unfortunately my family have had similar issues with the media. TV programmes and lots of articles in the paper were about cousins of mine (they were killed) and they were just awful, trashy pieces.
Irish media are basically all tabloids.

tonights programm was just a stark reminder about the 3 missing women ,we all know their names...
and the scum bag thats getting out next week,,,( L M)..we all know he had something to do with it...but it cannot be proved ,,,
The thing is now though,thanks to the likes of tv3 and Paul Williams,if the Gardai somehow manage to establish a link between him (LM) and the 3 missing women and bring him to court,his lawyers will be able to argue that due to all the media coverage etc.. theres no way he can be given a fair trial and he'll probably get off.
