There is such a thing as love at first sight. Those type of relationships in retrospect, were love. Remember that love is unexplainable, you can't really explain or understand it.
This version you are giving us now is this modern day crap they are trying to spoon feed us. That is convenience and compatibility not love. If you need time to start feeling something, by God you are lost. And guess love at first sight, despite many major differences and obstacles is a strong enough bond for the two involved to find ways and solutions, because the need to be together is far greater than this logical mumbo jumbo you speak of.
That my friends is love, and it will take you for the greatest ride of your life, and you won't want to go anywhere else.
