Feb 23 1980 is a day I remember as if it was yesterday.
I got lucky and scored a couple of tickets for a Broadway show through the USO in NYC. I took a girl I was seeing at the time and when it was over, we were waiting on a subway platform for the train back to Brooklyn.
A few Puerto Ricans came down and started to harass me for being with one of their own. One came at me with a knife forcing me back making her and I fall off the platform.
With no time to get to the ladder to get back on the platform, we started to crawl into the space underneath the platform. I made it but she didn't.
If I could knowing what I do today, I would get a cab instead.
If she had lived, the two of us would have been married several months later

Every time i fly to Australia is for me an unforgetable time to live and remember when i m back in Germany.
Hopefully one day i can stay there for good and than i think mostlikly back of the times i counted the days when i can fly out again and will say to myself.... everything is possible as long you believe it is possible.
