Young guys will always drive fast, they dont see the danger. I didnt at that age till i crashed when i was 22 and realised how lucky i was to be alive.

Does one have to spell it out. Your are right, Many years ago I cam accross a RTA on the Naas Road. High speed truck took them out. The emergency services had to lie the bodies on the ground to match the heads that were completly severed.

I must be honest - MORE legislation is the very last thing we need. 'Nanny state' etc.
I don't have the answer. But, as I said in a previous thread - You cannot legislate for stupidity. These sort of accidents will/always happen. Human nature... JMO.

I think a lot of young lads come to the same realisation after a crash, I was the same and so where a lot of people I know. Honestly a crash is the only thing that'll make a young fella understand that he is not the best driver in the world and isn't invincible.
