Why do guys.... (65)
Most photos are taken on nights out, wedding etc so some people might find it hard to get photos where they are alone. However, they could learn how to crop a photo before posting it!
What is worse is guys who put up old photos. Last week I got an e-mail from a guy who put up photos that could be 20 years old (poor quality photo, 80s clothes etc gave it away). This morning I got one from a man who scanned in a old photo where he looked 40+ (scratched were visible). God knows what age he is now!

To the best of my ability in understanding online dating, women prefer men that have pics of them on nights out as opposed to being at home alone with their camera...now do the same women want these men to stand alone in a pub with their pint and a camera

Yeah well we aint professional photographers but i think most people here try to put up a reasonable photo of themselves. To be honest i think it should be a rule that everyone who joins has to put a photo up.

Yes i know what you mean but its when mailing someone at first they can see me but i cant see them. But i suppose some people prefer their privacy. Hope ur keeping well anyway.

The Pic I have up at the moment is of me and my best mate at Glastonbury - I dont usually like pics with others in them - and sort of wonder about your point aswell - is it to prove that someone out there does like you/thinks your date material but cannot/will not try and figure it out or their motives really - can only speak on mine. I always liked the pic that I have up at the moment - shows fun times and me in a good mood - and its one of the most recent pics that I have of myself to put up - and with all the summer weather etc felt like reflecting that in my profile - so nothing deep and pyschological here with me for putting up a pic with a guy in it! :)
ps - read your comment aswell about the guy on the bog floor with the toilet brush
