Those here illegally (from Mexico at least) all used stolen social security numbers and ID's to gain employment. They paid into the system, but would never draw from it. Mexicans rented apartments, homes, and mobile homes that now stand empty. They bought vehicles, for cash. That tax revenue is now lost. They bout groceries and other necessities, now sales in those areas are down.
Yes our borders needed to be secured, but there is a down side nobody mentions..

You make some good points. It's complicated. Not sure what the answer is. We have some of the same issues here.

They are not exactly unarmed, Hollywood. They got more murder body counts going on South of the border....than deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
