shuvo81: I was in Brisbane yesterday. I found the city really beautiful and also lot warmer. Specially the botanical garden is a really nice place for relaxing your eyes.

I grew up in brisbane... I have been to sydney a few times.. and I live in melbourne
and.. sydney is not one of the places I would recommend people go to unless they are happy to see the yukky places in oz as well as the nice ones
I found people in sydney to be very self absorbed and the drivers should be banned from driving forever cos they are so bad at it
if I was recommending places to go out of the 3 cities mentioned.. it would be in this order
melbourne - because it has a nightlife and lots of things to do and the shops stay open all the time and there is always somewhere to go no matter what time of day or night it is.. and the shopping it FANTASTIC.. and we have great wines and coffee and drinking water
and the weather is bearable... lots of variety brisbane - cos the people are friendly and winter days are beautiful and they have great markets and southbank beach
sydney - cos it has the opera house and darling harbour
