Pilate's wife told him to have nothing to do with that just man, Jesus. Pilate was wrong not to listen to his wife.

The Rulers of the Philistines went to her and said"Entice Samson to tell you what makes him so strong and how he could be overpowered and tied up securely. Then each of them prommise to give her 1100 pieces of silver each. There were 5 of them. So Delilah did it for the silver!
pedro27: why did delilah betray samson by telling his enimes about cutting his hair losing his power

Yes! And Goldilocks did it for the porrige! I can't believe that adults take this nonsense seriously!
venusenvy: Ummm A1, Salome was the one that demanded the head of John the baptist on a silver platter no?
No.
The only Salome in The Bible, is Jesus' sister.
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? Matthew 13:55
There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; Mark 15:40
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him Mark 16:1
Delilah betrayed Samson for money.
And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.
And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

No problem SM,
Not only does The Bible name lots of good women, it tells us that often times the person closest to God at a given time, was a woman.
When everybody had forgotten what the scriptures said, and had fallen away, it was a woman who set them back on course.
When king Josiah gave the commandment to enquire of the LORD, they went to a woman...
Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
2 Chronicles 34:21-22
The first person Jesus showed himself to after his resurrection, was a woman.
Jesus sent a woman to tell the apostles, he had risen from the dead.
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
Maybe Samson had forgotton his place on earth and his path. His ego was starting to become more important to him than his faith in the Lord. Delilah did what she did out of jealousy, probably, but in doing so also was able to show samson his mistakes in believing in his ego above and beyond his Lord God. So even though she did a bad thing it was a lesson for samson that eventually led him back to the lord. Everyone we meet is there for our highest good whether its in a good or bad way. The learning of the lesson is the important part. Just my opinion!! Sometimes we need to learn the lesson the hard way.

And every one of them put on the earth to serve men if you read the bible.
And any woman quoting that "behind every good man..........."
should be ashamed of herself! A woman should not need a man to define her!
