I am sure that you can sneak your buzzing friend into Qatar without much difficulty.
However I doubt that you will be able to get its own private generator though customs quite so easily!

Doha should be much better than Saudi Arabia... to be sure have it in your checked-in luggage. Do not mail it to yourself; they could search the boxes and take whatever they deem inappropriate.
