A yonng lad I know had a few lumps knocked out of him last night walking home. The Gardaí were called but it was over quickly enough; the area has CCTV and they seem to have a few leads to work with.

I know, it's really bad suss when a harmless lad can't go out without people wanting to cause grief.
God love him but it's the second time in a year when he's been seriously hurt going out, the first time he spent a lot of time in hospital and sad to say but it's left him with lifelong injuries. I really hope that last night hasn't harmed him any more and that he has a safe recovery.

after i went off here last 2 fires were set in the middle of the village

my friend who is v pregnant works beside where it happened and when she commented to them the pelted her wit stuff
but other wise all ok not as bad as i was expecting
