a gang of lads tried to give my 17 month old nephew a firework when we were out trick or treating. theres been fireworks going all evening but the council came and took all the stuff from the bonfires earlier on today

I always sellotape shut my letterbox as had a nasty incident a few years ago when some lunatic decided to piddle through it!!!

i swear if i hadnt of seen it with my own eyes i would have said no way

before i moved in here the village had a lot of trouble with the kids and set fire to telephone poles in the middle of the rd and blocked 2 rds into the village

we had that with our porch only we lock it and my sister went outa few years ago to open it cause someone was outside and as she reached over the porch he bent down and put a firework through the letter box into the porch, luckly she saw it and closed the door just as it went off and all she got was a fright and no injuries thankfully

Years ago someone put a firework through my friend's letter box and the hall carpet got totally burnt ..... so dangerous

Nothing like that happens here, the worst is egging, or maybe someone's house and trees get wrapped in toilet paper.

Have just got bk from Temple St hosp wer i was collecting my daughter who was keeping her friend company. Her friend had glued her eye shut while trying 2 apply false eye lashes by using nail glue by mistake, Glad 2 say its very quiet over there this Halloween so hopefully we dont hear of so many horror stories in the papers of kids having accidents wit fireworks etc this year.
