I too am a creationest and I am an evolutionest at the same time. I beilive God created the universe and is still creating it all the time. There is nothing in the Bible that says God does not use evolution as a means of creating.

What happens to every Empire, you mean. Empires must expand. The more they expand, the more they suffer the expensive logistical necessities of maintaining their colonies. The more expensive that becomes, the more despotic they are to their citizens, the more enemies they make, the lower the standard of living for everyone but the elite.
Rome suffered barbarians at the gate. So did England. Now its the USA's turn. The simple mechanics of Imperialism.
