Well, I think its lovely.. its his way of keeping his mums memory alive and it shows he loves and respects kate enough to entrust her with something that is so precious to him
... most people loved Diana and obviously Kate doesnt mind.. I'm sure she would have told him to go 'F' himself if she was offended by it

The ring is symbolic fer him in the great memory of his mother he missed out on as a child. There is no such a thing as 2nd hand gold or diamonds…as in ring. I admire this young woman for not having a closed mind & showing respect fer her future husband to be and the royal family. AS SHE SHOULD!
