Nope Myers is a bigot, plain and simple
He has a gripe with the fact that Gerry Adams will be standing for election in Louth, quoting paisleys thoughts on the republic in the 80s , yes the republic harboured republicans, Isn`t that what it was for ffs
Myers doesn`t believe we should be an independant sovereign state and that we are not capable of looking after our selves, maybe there is an element of truth in that but who wants to be british??

When you have people over here showing you articles like this and others I feel embarressed. I was a part of all that as well, as Im not over here long, and I couldn't even argue any of his points. We got it wrong soooooo wrong.

i didn't vote for any government parties in the last election or the one before but i can see why people did, times were good and people thought changing government would make the good times stop, if myers thinks thst is stupid then he is wrong, what was the alternative? enda kenny said after the 06 budget that he should have given more so maybe its just as good people did vote ff
as for myers gerry adams bashing, in fairness to adams he was slated for all the wrong reasons in 07, his message wasn't heard because nobody wanted to hear last orders when the party was still going strong

In fairness he pointed out the hypocrisy of Adams standing for the next election in Louth, the same county where the remains of Jean McConville were found and where Tom Oliver was abducted and murdered by the IRA in the eighties.

Adams has family in Louth, Do you know for a fact gerry adams personally buried jean mcconvilles remains in templetown??
And tom Oliver was abducted and murdered in 91 not the 80s, he was left across the border, naked from the waist up, hands tied behind his back, black bag over his head and gunshot in the back of his head
