Well if someone doesn't have confidence,beief in themselves or love themselves then they can't expect anyone else to love/like them either.

Yep, that's why it's sad, especially if said person lives alone. I guess the in confident ones need a push at times. It really is intriguing in a way.

I spent most of my teen years being painfully shy, quiet and a book worm. It wasn't until my late 20's or early 30's that I challenged myself to get out and forced myself to become what I wasn't, I adapted and am now more confident in my late 30's than I've ever been in my entire life, but I am by no means full of myself or think highly of myself..I am just comfortable being who I am.

Alot of it also has to do with your bringing..if you had negative affirmations as a kid..they tend to get carried with you into adulthood...on a sub conscious level sometimes.
