well after much deliberation and prompeted by an empty home with some trepidation i set of again through the singles mine field.
i've been around the block before, and been engaged in conversation with rare and strange souls,
i have seen my share of fake profiles and meet people with 20 year old profile photo's
oddly enough, i am looking for a real person. or perhaps she is a myth
ghana seems to be a popular source of pritty face pics and vacant profiles, un solisited messages asking you to contact them on a hotmail address or such like,
several times i have done this to find, the end of the line some one looking verry engagingly for money,
common senario, and anteques dealer, stuck needing funds to leave the contry, hmmm
this week some one from my area claiming to be in going to ghana, but thought that 8:30 pm was morning time,
well i guess every one needs to make a living, but i can spot a scam i feel,
love to hear about others tripping over similar mines in the singles field
gheers all

Yes, I am always amazed that people are STILL replying to scam emails, getting sucked in, and sending oodles of money to someone they have never met!!

just been through the same - thought the guy was real ... guess you just have to keep on trucking and hope for someone real - who you actually believe - after all the others it's going to be hard not to be cynical!

free sites arnt exclusive to scammmers,
one of the larger paied web sites got stung for having something like 1500 fake profiles, in the data base this year,
i guess this site has its fair share of those also,
BTW noone ever sends me money either
It is difficult to meet that particular person who dots all our i's and crosses all our t's. It doesnt matter if you go clubbing every friday night, hang out music venues, go on 1000 blind dates, or chat to people on the net.
I think its meant to be tricky to find that person, that way when we find them we realise how important and precious they are.
As for here, I go to meets when they are planned, have been to them in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide. I've met some incredible people, and I've been fortunate enough to make some great friends. So as far as Im concerned there are LOADS of very REAL people here.
