I agree, there is no need to establish a German thread. Not only would offend everyone who isn't verse in that language, it also reduces the chances we'd have. True also there are stacks of German dating lines and forums to write in.

und, Grussen von mir auch %) I fully agree that we do not need an all German forum as the lady said. I merely came to see if it only concerned Germany as a country. Too many would not understand or misunderstand; but then we all could revert to Old English from Chaucer's time which was mostly still German...%) if all else fails, we can brush up on our Latin...Vero, Latine loqui non est difficilus..or perhaps "Rap"...%)

Ok, if by reading everyone's responses and I have got it right the gentleman wants a german speaking thread, then why not.
It is a European forum and many people would only speak one language.
It would preclude me, but would not offend me.

Be welcome Drevotvar and take care....

Please do it drevotvar, and if no on uses the thread then you've lost nothing but an adventurous choice.
I'm a bit bored with well educated Germans who seem to want to deny their awesome heritage and avoid the charm of their native language, so it'd be nice to acually see it work.
As I am in Australia and this site is in Malta(?), I won't speculate on what languages are appropriate. And as I am a new member I won't aspire to being bored with, denied chances because of, or precluded by your forming a German speaking thread/forum.
Go for it man!

(what did you expect?)
