Yeah I didn't see the first match but in my view far too much was made of his 88 average. He still won 3-0, it's not as if he was nearly knocked out or anything. He'll blow Laursen away. 4-0 I reckon. The dane might win a leg. At most 2, but that's it.

To be honest a game against a Danish nobody won't silence any doubters. It is a lose lose situation for him. The real championship won't start for Taylor until the Quarter Final when he'll probably be playing Webster.

Good point,he needs to be really challenged,Lewis just gave his prediction on the game too,hes saying a 4-0 with a 96-97 ave.Be interesting to see how accurate he is.

Laursen is playing well. 95 average and still looking at a whitewash (in sets.) You have to feel sorry for him.

I agree,he would have beaten a lot of others at this stage,was just unlucky to have been paired with the Power.Hes an unbelievable professional.
Some very choice language coming from Taylor in his post match interview me thinks....lol
Have got £50 riding on Phil Taylor so watching all his games ( + most of the others ). He isn't convincing at the moment but still feel he is the best under pressure

Yeah, James Wade has to have a good chance this year. Still only got 4/5 on Phil which i thought was a bit tight

Simple fact is that I don't think Wade would beat Taylor, he'll need help. I reckon Lewis, Whitlock and Barney are the only ones left who are capable of beating him. Webster could have a real cut off him in the Quarters but Might fall just short. Whitlock would be my tip to win the tournament, I think he's ready this year. But no one should ever write off Phil.
God our lad Dolan was unlucky in the first set. I hope it doesn't unsettle him too much.
