I totally agree,i just don't think hes gonna do it,Anderson is hitting a 108 average,Barney keeps his chin up he might do it,but i really fancy anderson,he has really impressed me.I now think hes gonna go on and win the tournament.The power is dipping in form i think.

Anderson has a history of bottling it in world championships going back his BDO days, so question marks do hang over him, but if he can maintain his current form he will win the title. Barney will be a big test for him today though. I give Webster a good chance of beating Taylor today as well.

oh excellent, i only started watching darts about 2 years ago. I used to think it looked boring but one night i was in a pub in dublin and it was on, it was more fun than i thought it would be
Oh and I do think Lewis and Jenkins will win the other too. (Didn't realise at first that you wanted match predictions.)

Yep. I don't play I just watch it as well. Good buzz, but atmosphere, commentary and quality isn't quite the same in the BDO. Still worth watching though.

See,thats the difference this year,Taylor never had to improve before,was always consistant from start to end of tournament.He is always gonna be the favourite though.

I agree, actually I think it's important he doesn't make the final. him going out in the quarters in 2008 was ruined by Shepherd fluking his way in. Good to see a surprise player in the final but it made for a horrible final, you knew Part would cruise it, and he did. At least this year, we know if we have a Taylor free final it will still be between 2 quality players.

Yes but for a guy without sattelite, it's all he'll get. Bizarrely, there are still a few BDO purists who regard that championship as the real one.
