paws4: Keep posting my dear, I appreciate your compassion. Most threads are like this, if I posted that my mother died today, someone would make light of it. It's the nature of the forums and a study in human behaviour.

I've been posting on this site for quite a while and have encountered many forms of behaviour but this one took the prize for me sorry to say...I don't have such a thick skin

"For the 1rst time in 10 years my ex communicated with me. She sent me a Xmas card and a home made fruit cake. Of course I had someone taste it first....waited an hour, they were fine. Seriously though, it did feel good. Closure comes in many forms."
Ahem! ..there is a leetle humour in the first post people...

In keeping with human behaviour, have you not seen some posts with humour in them and as the discussion progresses, something sounding more serious starts to rear it's ugly head....read from the beginning here and tell me where the humour continues or where I'm told it's all one big joke by the OP....btw...this does not include the "humourous posts" by the fellow with "the grip" on himself.

paws4: Do you think that I think that I'm the only one....I trust that you're kidding. Are you having a bad day ?
does one have to have a bad day ,to listen to someone whine about what, almost, everbody else has been thru, at one time or another ?...get a grip, for crying out loud !!!...
OK. Enough. I posted what I thought was a landmark in my life experience. It meant a lot to me and as most threads go, it's personal, yet for all to comment on. I don't mind the glib comments. Some have a problem expressing feelings unless they come from their favourite sit-com. Such is life.
