I think disabled ex vets should be tax free, and all vets for that matter, the guys who laid their lives on the line.

tax free is not enough tom. i think the disabled vet should get a handsome amount of money from the government every month or year to live a comfortable life for the rest of his/her life

I would assume that also means ALL vets from ALL armed forces, both regulars and 'irregulars' be they from the winning side or/and the losing side...

Good thread! I have another idea. Just make the offending goverment who launched the war, responsible for the environmental clean-up afterwards. Like an oil spill in the Gulf. For instance you could start in Laos and Cambodia, where 2.71 MILLION TONS of ordinance was dropped. A lot of it were cluster bombs that remain undetonated.
