What most people do now is get pissed before they go out so all they need is 2 or 3 drinks the rest of the night, well thats what I do whenever I go out or I might smuggle a shoulder of voddie too,

we should do as the germans did after 2nd world war...ease the brewing taxes...release in house brew lisenses tax really low and get the cash flowing on cheaper in pub beers and stouts...drive diagio out to a smaller share instesd of 90%(as they have now)..get the people back...the craic will follow..as will new jobs....People should try going out and having the craic. should have added people dont have money now to be spending on drink in nightclubs or even pubs so there will be more places closing down, They might be packed to the rafters but people arent spending in them

Alcohol is cheaper than it's ever been as a share of the average wage! I'd rather they'd reduce the price of heating oil and electricity.
It does kinda annoy me that if you go up north 20euro will get you twisted where down here, a good night out will easily cost 100+.
