Really I should be telling you not to do it since I'm going back to school. Thin out the competition as such

I'd go see a careers advisor. Help to get some focus. The one I see is through the VEC in longford. But get a move on lad. CAO apps have to be in feb 1st. The fetac courses aren't far behind either.

They have courses on FAS.IE and If it wasn't for the course I did with them I never would of thought about going bad to study.

It does kinda annoy me that if you go up north 20euro will get you twisted where down here, a good night out will easily cost 100+.

Cheaper taxes on alcohol, free dancing lessons and tighter dresses. :) Problem solved

This Year I thought I'd play it smart and make two arrangements so I was guaranteed a good night. Well they both fell through SO the options at the minute are:

Wing it in my local town and maybe have some craic. Although the main crowd seems to get younger every year (yes i realise I'm getting older).

Go see my mate who we were suppost to hit the town with. Instead he wants to stay at home with the missus. Which I can't really blame him cause I'd do the same thing. I'm not so sure I wanna bring in the new year listening to him riding the missus lol

Stay at home. Drink myself silly so I don't know what day it is, nevermind year.

So what time am I picking you up Sally? lol

I'm heading up the north for the first time so should be fun. Although I've been told dozens of times the town isn't great craic.

Thought I had a kiss in the bag this year but no :( I hate winging it but sure normally works out :)

I have done in the past and its was a nightmare. Well not literally of course

Exercise, regular exercise would be the main thing that helped me. I'm not sure why your not sleeping but for me I had alot of stress at the time. My mind was racing as soon as I climbed into bed. Another good thing to try is hops (in flower form) and lavender inside your pillow. I think you can buy them in a little pouch that drops straight in. Great for relaxing you.

I used to say the same word over and over again in my head, in my case nothing. Its kinda cool cause the minute you stop you can feel the thoughts rushing back in :)

Setting yourself a routine would be a great idea too. Say to bed at 12 up at 8.30 regardless. With the few days I've had off I've been getting 10+ hours sleep and it really makes you feel like crap. Maybe even worse than little sleep.
