It's the most accurate insight into the mind of teenage boys I've ever seen on TV. So not for the faint-hearted!

Is there going to be a new season? They did kinda wrap everything up. I guess once they realise theres still profit to be made out with a new season.

The Inbetweeners: The Movie announced
Ryan Lambie

E4’s hit television comedy The Inbetweeners is set to hit the big screen in a feature-length movie adaptation…
Published on Aug 26, 2010

E4's BAFTA-winning comedy The Inbetweeners, about the school days of a group of particularly awkward teenagers, already has a third series on the horizon, and now there are reports of a big screen adaptation in the offing.

The Inbetweeners movie will take its quartet of stars abroad for a week of parent-free hedonism in Greece, and predictably, things soon go awry.

"The four decide to go to Malia, a party town for mainly young British tourists on the Greek island of Crete," reads the film's press statement. "And if they felt slightly outside of mainstream teenage society in their suburban hometown then that feeling is magnified a thousand times in one of Europe's hedonistic hotspots."

Despite initial rumours of discontent between the series' star Simon Bird and its producers, it's recently been confirmed that he's definitely on board for the film, along with co-stars Joe Thomas, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Emily Head, and shooting is already underway in Crete.

No word yet on when we can expect to see the finished movie, but we do know the third series of The Inbetweeners will air in September on E4.

I read on Wiki that they are not making a 4th series because they

I heard that they were ending it after season three too. But it seems that because the ratings were so consistently high for season three, they are considering making a fourth series. It doesn't mean it will happen, but here's hoping. There's still so much mileage can be gotten out of it. I mean they aren't even finished school in it yet. So the next logical step would probably be life for them in uni/college. But then the other school of thought is to end it on a high note like Fawlty Towers/The Office/Little Britain etc did after two or three seasons. But I don't know, I think it still has a good shelf life ahead of it. Would love to see a fourth season.

The film they are making is about them all going on holidays to
greece, it would be something along the lines of Kevin and Perry
go large but I think it would be even funnier
