i am still friends with my ex and she cheated on me, didnt talk for a few months but its fine now, you get over it sxxt happens

well i cant talk for been cheated on to the best of my knowledge that hasn't happened, but ive had things end bitter very bitter, but in time things normalize and you move on from whatever hurt was caused, i talk to a couple of exes of mine nowit really depends on 2 things if you were narried like i was the answer is a bib no 2 if it happened g/f b/f yes it could be possible

Yes but it will take a long time!! I am still friendly with my ex but its a quick text or quick phone once or twice a year, we don't meet on a soical level but after so many years it was hard to say goodbye not the romance!! but the good elements friends, family etc my family are also in contact in fact much more so then myself!!

If he cheated on me NO chance, ultimate betrayal if in a committed relationship with someone, wouldn't do it so would not except it. You can hold your head high

This is a saying I stand by and have passed on to my children and those young people I have worked with during the years, treat others as you would like to be treated yourself or would like your loved ones to be treated. I use this to make my kids and young people think about the impact of their actions, it teaches them empathy.

Absolutely agree JLM - trust is one of the hardest things to build,easiest to destroy and dont think it can ever really be built up a second time - once its gone its gone
My ex still rings me often - we ended things very amicably - he had to move away for work and long distance just didnt work for either of us. I sometimes feel that this contact confuses me a bit ....it makes me think of the good times and what we passed up even though I know it was the right decision. If he cheated on me however and we ended things bitterly - contact wouldnt be a consideration at all.

So true I'm still slightly bitter after an experience whereby someone caused me unbearable hurt & disappointment by there actions towards me
Someday I may forgive but I will never have a friendship with this person again... I had the uttermost respect/loyalty towards our friendship which is why I'm still upset today I still can't bear to think about it really!More Threads
