Am new to this site and thinking of going to Drogheda meet, but get the feeling that old friends will stick together and am afraid that us "newbies" will feel left out. Can someone let me know how it usually goes? confused

Hi Geri wave

The meets are great and I can highly recommend them. When I joined here first I was the same and there was a meet a month later which I decided to go to. From the minute I walked in people introduced themselves and welcomed me. Because everybody is there to meet new people and we are all from this site people will look out for each other. I can understand new people on the forums thinking there is a clique but, from my experience there actually isn't and the meets reflect that.
Go............You will meet some brilliant people and you will not regret it.

Its not like that at all. I know it sounds intimidating your first time going to a meet but once you get there everyone is really friendly and welcoming. We've all been there so we know how it feels. I'd suggest maybe arranging to meet someone you've chatted with on the forums before the meet so you can walk in with them and you don't feel like a stranger.

Once you get there, I'm sure you will have a good time wave
