I personally don't find it odd. I am on here just for friends and i am in a relationship. My bf knows that im on here and sometimes even gets on in my place. We share the profile, we both just enjoy the forums.

I'd agree that you could change your 'looking for' to talk/penpals eic (or whatever it says), other than that you make your intentions pretty clear.
