I went and saw Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park back in the early 80's.
If I'd been smart and knew it, I would have waited until they broadcast it on HBO a month laterlaugh

Floyd at Knebworth took some beating - but so did Dire Straits in Hammersmith and Kasabian at MEN Arena and VFestival.

Rory Gallagher at Weeley, Coldplay at One Big Sunday Leicester....

decisions, decisions decisions.... and I'd probably change my mind about the above and substitute something else tomorrow. Plan B or Seasick Steve at Vfestival maybe.... The Who at Live8. It's a tough call.

The13thWarrior: Have seen 'The Tubes' 6 times.
They just keep getting better!

Dammit, you lucky man!, I was set to see them at the astoria in london, and the same week Fee's dad passed away...The gig was cancelled...Did get the Wild west tour video though!...

Re top gigs...

Emerson Lake and Palmer at the Royal Albert Hall in 94 (black moon comeback tour)

Pink Floyd at the time they toured the "Division Bell", massive arena in London, cant remember the name of the place!...A free ticket no less, the other guys lift had pulled out and i was the only one with a car....

The Police at Croak Park in Dublin...88,000 strong crowd, memorable to say the least...

The Who in the Portsmouth Guildhall around 2002 as they were prepairing for a world tour / comeback...John Entwistle bass solo in 5.15...Pure magic...

dozens of other great gigs but there the standouts...

All the best...Lard...thumbs up
