Johnwain: while those with a sense of humor are the best

And those who take the humour in the manner in which it was meant are tops handshake

I still stand by advise to you...to COP on.
You've made some sweeping remarks on here that frankly I found offensive.
Yesterday you made a remark on a thread relating to the tragedy in Cork that went down like a lead ballon.
For the intelligent man that you say you are, you have a lot to learn.
I remember a week or 2 ago a lady joined in on the forums just to let people know of a singles night that was coming up. Just because she was new, you, as well as many others launched an attack on her just cause she wasnt a regular poster...and felt she was trying to pull a fast one or something???
You even went as far as to say that she was only out to make a quick buck..so to speak.
Thats just 2 that spring to mind. I'm sure theres plenty more but I'll refrain from high lighting here.

Anyway...I'm on my hols so nothing or no one is going to spoil that!!
Not even you!!
tongue
Have a marvellous weekend!!

Orla2010: What is the biggest turn off you could see in a person's Profile? I'm not talking about the physical attributes of the person but the things they say about themself.

For me, I think it's when I see "open minded", "broad minded" or "into new experiences" ....

biggest turn off is when they don't have a profile pic of themselves up, because no matter what they have written on the profile you know they are lacking confidence if they can't even muster up the courage to show there face.
But not only that, you can also tell a lot about a person from their portrait picture.

no offence intended towards anyone without a portrait pic of themselves.

Yes I stand by what I said, singles nights are a good way of making money and I disagree with people using CS members to make a fast buck.
You should really try to develop a sense of humour, I find fresh air and plenty of good honest exercise keeps me smiling, maybe take up a sporting activity, , healthy body healthy mind.
Enjoy your holiday ..
All the best,, Stan...

Stan, In fairness your comments yesterday about the Crash in cork WERE way out of order, you could be at least man enough to admit that they were

A tad insensitive perhaps and probably the kind of thing which is best said as a joke among friends rather than on an internet forum, My friends found it funny as did I but I realise that not everyone has the same sense of humour.

There's nearly always humour in everything, but as always it's all about the TIMING.. but as you say to each their own

Blooms: oh yeah he's great at timing too. He thinks "suicide should b a leaving cert subject in offaly" (because it has the highest rate there. And he comes out with this little gem 2 days after some young guy tops himself. Real funny joke for that young guys family to have to hear. I can't stick him or his bad mouth jokes!

Didn't he nearly get lynched once for telling a Jesus joke on the Late Late Show?

Indeed. Timing is not the issue. Princess Die jokes anybody?

In fairness slagging of some bloke, who if was about today claiming to be the SOG... would be locked up and heavily sedated, is fair game.... as i dont believe in god I certainly dont believe in his son... Folklore... Different about real events and closeness to the..... EG NASA= need another seven astronauts..... was funny eventually but not on the day the challenger exploded on takeoff
