they have added a dating application, I keep getting mails in my junkbox saying so and so fancies you
this was someone who is on a friends page and he emailed me , said he realy liked my photo and asked if i would like to go out , i tought you had to add someone for them to be able to send you a message

Well maybe this email had nothing to do with facebooks dating application, maybe this guy just fancied you and decided you needed to know. You need to check your privacy setting, seems like friends of friends can see your profile, you can change that if u want

It always did unfortunately,I receive daily dating invites by ppl I dont know and never will ...thats just a shame
You know what? I was going to say something along the kines of "You'll always get a chancer etc etc" but I've decided to go with "Life is too short, sometimes you have to be spontaneous and just go for it. Who know what path love takes but at the very least you might have a little fun."

StrongSilentType: You can send a message sometimes without being friends also you can send one with a friend request as far as I know.
Really? Never knew that.
I think facebook is becoming kind of weird. I get a lot of friend requests from people I don't know. It seems that some people are in competition to have the maximum head count of friends but I'm not sure if they are really friends with all the friends in their list.
