Another thread gave me the idea for this thread question.
I left home when I was 16 and worked and supported myself while still attending school.I never ever depended on my mother for any financial help whatsoever.Later on when my mother became ill I temporary moved back home to take care of her.
Would any man date a woman who still lived with her parent(s)?

i would yes. we all have finacial problems. and diffrrent reasons for not wanting to fly the nest. some like me like the companion ship of it. it gives you some one to talk to. and you should be happy you have time with your parents befor there number is up. i dread that day. but yes i would date a girl who's still living at home.

Glad you feel the way you do about your father. He's very lucky to have such a loving and caring son.
I took care of my mom cause she had brain cancer. Her and I were so close that it tore me upside down the other when she passed.

Ccincy: Thank you.I had a very good teacher growing up.In this world you gotta be strong.
U're welcome I think some of the men are mistaken to believe that independent women must be too strong to handle.
But independent women can be frail inside, regardless of their appearance; & bec of what they have been thru, they have a greater capacity for love & understanding.
Most importantly, independent women know better how to take care of others like they take care of herself.
