kidmak: Ae, and cheers, I have to put myself out there. If there is no response, well, hey I gave it a try. Looking for work as a 'mature woman' is really hard. I am a young person in soul and spirit, however, my age is 54. I love my age, I have had so many experiences I am still experiencing and embracing life and I believe thats because I am open, honest, and a bit of a free spirit. Many thanx for the goodluck, cheers
You put yourself out there...people will remember you...i remember a girl last week asking for work at a supermarket, i heard, i approached her and said 'hi' and mentioned that i'd heard she was looking for work and told her about an advert i'd seen not far....simple convo, for less than a minute....but i know what's it's like to look for work...i was too old, but she seemed the right age, so i passed it on...

I get offered jobs all the time, just recently I walked past a shop and the lady there chased me down the street trying to give me work. I was looking like a bogan all red and blotchy in my thongs after coming out of the waxers upstairs.
So I knew a few people looking for work and put the word out but people just end up making you look like an idiot when you recommend them.normalguy68: I would have put you on but you're 2 years outside my seeking criteria.

Hey, I do cold calling, and, I have thought about walking around town with a placade stating that I am looking for work. However I do think I need to be in an area that has work opportunities for that to work. who knows, I may still try it........
