salanky: well i really hope she pulls through, she might be an aggressive little demon at times but shes my aggressive little demon and iv wanted her for years and would be devastated if she doesnt pull through
What do you feed her on? My brother used to have a tarantula. And he had to go into town every once in a while to buy crickets for his din-dins. Very noisy things especially at night. Used to keep me awake at all hours of the night. I used to keep them warm under my duvet as they were North African crickets. But once I rolled over on the carton and burst it open and they were hopping out all over the inside of my bed. Then the tarantula ran out from underneath my pillow and gobbled them all up before running up my sleeve into the safe, warm, sanctuary of the sleeve of my pyjamas.
Steve5150: OMG! I cant imagine having to plonk a live rat in with a big snake (presuming that the snakes only eat live food).

lord no they arent live thats just cruel, they are animals bred for food that are killed humanely and get frozen. i do work with animals but im not a vet ill be a fully qualified vet nurse in a few monthsAnd you work with animals?? Are u a vet?

Good for you Salanky. That soundz cool. I was wondering where you got 'ear of snake' the other night on here. I asked for a leg of fish in a chipper last week and the guy had the most sour, god-awfully dull expression on his face that he would have cracked 999 mirrors. Honestly some people need to seriously lighten up so I told him to forget about my order and instead I went next-door into a pharmacy and bought a loaf of lemsips. What about you?? Any nice purchases made recently???
salanky: well shes so sick she has to be fed with a stomach tube cause shes dehydrated and the mice wont go down, its part of the problem with her that i couldnt get the food into her without her throwing it up a day or so later

well technically snakes do have ears of a sort but not in the conventional sense of what most people think of ears. the only thing iv bought of late aside from my soon to be big vet fees is a new tub for delilah(the snake)to live in when she hopefully comes home.....oh the sad life of a student delamer: Have you had her long? Mate had a boa and 'grass' snakes. First time I held one - I was surprised at how warm and non-slithery they are!

Maybe she'd like a friend in there with her. I wonder if she'd need companionship. Failing that you'll just have to hiss into the tub from time to time to keep her nice and chillaxed or set her up a nice new profile on that dating site.....er what's it called again?????.......oh yeah....connectingsnakes.ie.
salanky: ah you werent to know, most people wouldnt think a snake can get sick like that. she may have anaemia so ill know in a few days if its that or this virus so im hoping its anaemia cause theres no treatment for the virus
