I just got off my cell phone talking with my 7 year old, Autistic son Tanner. He was very excited and I had difficultly understanding him. His mother was in the background assisting with the translations. Bless his heart, when he's excited he mumbles and talks super fast.
But anyway tanner tells me that he received a certificate in the mail from his school and it was an Excellence Award.
I tell him I'm proud of him, I love him and he did a great job!
Tanner tells me he knows what he wants to be when he grows up.
I asked him what?
He tells me he wants to be a Excellence Award. I asked him why? It's paper.
He tells me I know dad, but I just want to make people happy like the Award made me happy.
He is such a sweet boy!
