rose150T: I am inviting you to read again my previous post, but do it well, without hate in your hart.

I am not in a democratic country I don't believe in this "democracy" of two parties...

You need to read more about the health services in USA...and the insurance health system.

I don't support any foreign military operation in any country.

And, please, learn something about the RICHENESS of oil. With the fast development of other forms of energy this richness may turn SOON, VERY SOON, into dirty black garbage.

Thank you.

Blues63: I was wondering that. Replaced with what? Anarchy? Oligarchy? Theocracy? Absolutism? Fascism? Communism? The list could go on and on. I'm not saying it's perfect, but no other constitution proffered can be elevated above it.

Modern democracies are representive, as opposed the Athenian model of Solon, but Athens was merely a city state, not a nation.
Some may posit that western democracies are merely oligarchies or dyarchies masked with the concept of democracy; this has some merit with countries under a two-party system supplying candidates from generations of political families . However, I still cannot find a constitutional model that surpasses democracy.
Exactly!
But try tell that to the doubters!
They'll find a million and one Reasons why there is more Freedom in a Dictatorship!grin

Conrad73: Got that right!

Yep and too many folk cannot see that having a choice in government may also mean that your choice is not always the main choice of folk and they cannot accept that.

Now that is were the sniping begins. As you party is not in power you run the one who is down and complain (as is your right) about all aspects you hate.

But, seldom if ever do you applaud the good things they do 'cos it ai'nt your party.

Now that is democracy in action.

Have a look at the Obama threads and you will see it.

I do not profess to have much knowledge on the USA political scene but from day one folk and a fair few of them have constantly run him down.

Usually republicans. Now that is fine but to never applaud the good things and only concentrate on the negative is that not unfair???

A somewhat simple thought but valid none the less.

Some of these folk I agree with in many points on many threads but I cannot agree with the I vote Republican so anything the Democrats do is wrong....No logic in that.

But that is the good thing about D E M O C R A C Y the right to do as you please and say what you will....

As always JMOgrin cheers

I know oil is used for many thing, not only energy, but energy is the nain one.

For me the most important richness is science!

You may have something to teach me about political systems. This "democratic" system in my country is finished and unable to answer to the actual crisis.

Later one I will search in Net the Constitution of your country. I may learn something. We need new ideas.

dunno confused

Thanks Conrad
