Sparky55: According to Snopes this is a hoax (not sure if you meant it as a joke or not). The normal distribution of IQ scores goes like this and there's no meaningful rating above 150 or below 50:
Over 140 - Genius or near genius 120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence 110 - 119 - Superior intelligence 90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence 80 - 89 - Dullness 70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness
Also, very odd that the Presidents lised show almost exclusively republicans on the lower end of the scale.
182 William J. Clinton (D) 175 James E. Carter (D) 174 John F. Kennedy (D) 155 Richard M. Nixon (R) 147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) 132 Harry Truman (D) 126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D) 122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) 121 Gerald Ford (R) 105 Ronald Reagan (R) 098 George HW Bush (R) 091 George W. Bush (R)
I've heard how stupid the Republican nominee for president since I was 5 years old, regardless of who it was. It gets old~
I'd think Roosevelt would be at the bottom (along w/the dumb asses that voted him in for 2 terms and the only thing that could get the US out of a depression was getting into a war.
Sparky55: Yeah, I think the top 2 are rather odd and if correct, it doesn't say much for high intelligence leading to high performance.
On a serious note, I actually like Carter as a person. He's a great humanitarian and has been far more successful since his presidency. Bill Clinton was the polar opposite of Carter. He did some good things while in office but some things in his personal life got BLOWN way out of proportion and made his presidency a little messy
Carter had to be one of the most likable, honest and empathetic World Leaders of all time. He was, however, incredibly inept and it could have been that these qualities that made him so easy to like made him utterly ineffective in foreign relations at a time a strong leader was needed.
