trixie88: i read an article today which said that it is the third/fourth/fifth dates which help us make up our minds about a potential partner.. apparently nerves/wanting to make good impression/alcohol can play such a role in the 1st & 2nd dates that we can't take them into account... its only on later dates when the two people are more relaxed and comfortable around eachother that we can come to know the real them and make real decisions about whether or not there is relationship potential!so...my question is...if these are the dates that are going to make the real lasting impressions,what are ur suggestions? something outside of the usual coffee/lunch/dinner/drinks stuff... something that will allow you to really get to know eachother and make a good impression!?

You need to do normal stuff, nothing organised or planned. The only way you will really get to know a person is by just being yourselves, not making an effort.....if that makes any sense

makes loads of sense!its just thats all wev done,is normal stuff-our first date was meant to be a coffee,quick and easy incase it was disasterous!it wasnt disasterous though :) we ended up spending the whole day together, just sat drinking coffee for about three hours n then strolled around town,sat on park benches chattin etc... wanna show more sides to me now though...and wanna see more of his toochemistryset7: he will saty intrested your lovely

Kinda, dates are great, but they're not real life. They always say you have to live with someone before you really know them, so that's what I mean by doing normal stuff. Just go about your normal Saturday, or whatever, with your other half with you and then see how you get on
