I'm having steak prepared in the traditional Dutch way (rare, pan-fried in a little low-fat omega-3-enriched frying butter), with stroganoff sauce. And with that I'm having a green leafy salad with honey mustard dressing and a squeeze of lemon and freshly ground pepper. Simple and nutritious and mostly carb free.

In America, if you went to Texas, you'd have a steak, if you went to Maine, you'd have lobster and in New York, you'd have pizza.

I read that you don't have a specialty but what food is Australia known for?

Actually, if you went to Texas you might have barbecue brisket or fajitas... You can get steak almost anywhere.

Man did this thread hit home with me.
I've had a craving for something for weeks now and I can't figure out what I want.laugh I've cooked this, I've cooked that and nothing satisfied me. I read these post and thought this or that sounded good but none hit that spot that said YEAH that's what I want.
I'll find it but in the mean time I'm gaining way too much weight looking for that elusive food item.help help

Hi Jusso,

How about we cook dinner together?

I'm thinking since its Great weather outside
lately, and it stays bright longer... How about
a nice BBQ?

We can have steak, I'll make the marinade and if
you'd be so kind to do the grilling. I'll make a
fresh green salad or greek salad which ever you
prefer. How about some corn on the cob? We can
have ice cold beer or a chilled white zin or just
some ice cold sun tea...

For dessert how about strawberry shortcake with cool
whip topping?

Cooking together makes the meal special no matter what's
on the menu. It also tastes so much better as well.
