MistyGurlSunshine Coast, Queensland Australia6 Threads 349 PostsI dont know if its a typical male 'Scorpio' trait...but both Scorpio men I have dated, and then gotten serious about, have seemed to have gotten serious about me very quickly (as in, fell in love with me VERY early in the relationship, while I tend to 'tread more carefully with the L word')...and they go from 'taking care' of me, to controlling me. Its as if, because they took such 'good care' of me at the beginning, that they felt it was their right to start controlling me...that I should be grateful for their care they showed, at the beginning.

The chances are, they weren't self-aware enough to think they had a right to control you. It was probably a behavioural pattern born of complex roots.
Its very difficult to deal with when you're close to it, eh? And you end up close to it quickly because they fall in love so quickly.

Oh yes, looking back, lack of self-awareness was the issue with both of them...but I sometimes, when thinking back, wonder if it was a part of their 'inbuilt' personalities (that we all have, with our starsigns, since thats the topic discussed here). Both men basically behaved in exactly the same way, towards me...which had me wondering, at the time, whether it was the 'Scorpio' in them.
Not that that would stop me dating a Scorpio man in future...I dont let any 'starsign' stop me from dating someone! :)
